Again those that follow me on Insta will have seen that I recently had to get some head shots done for a new company I’m doing some free lance work for. It’s actually my brothers new Corporate Events company and I’m helping him with his Social Media & some of the events on the day which will be fun!
Well as soon as I was asked, I had a good old rummage in the old wardrobe and pulled out a couple of dark navy & back dresses & had a little play around with a few pics for Insta with this H&M number from A/W17
I have worked in Media Sales for years, my last company Jcdecaux were very corporate, all the guys had to wear suits & ties & there was a pretty strict dress code for the ladies too for years.
However I used to basically get away with murder, as I absolutely would not conform to the navy & black suit and have made a flowery dress my signature look for the past 15 years! The new company Sherbet Taxis I currently freelance for 3 days a week are much more chilled and we can wear jeans and trainers if we want to as TBH most the people you meet in advertising agencies are pretty relaxed and about 22 so a suit would completely scare them off!
So I didn’t wear the navy H&M dress above and picked out this gorgeous flowery dress that I bought a few months ago from Very.co.uk
Unfortunately this dress is no longer available so I’ve had a quick browse through and here are some of my recommendations from Very.co.uk for those that are looking to brighten up their office wear …..
Wear with opaque tights for winter /spring & whip off a soon as the sun comes out!
Gosh I literally love all of these, although to be fair it’s basically what one of my wardrobes looks like!! (Yes I have to admit I have a whole wardrobe designated to flowery dresses!!)
I can’t wait for spring to show it’s sunny face as this weather is pants and limiting my flowery dress wearing!!
