Prior to the event we were very generously asked to select an outfit to wear to the party. The Spring Summer 2019 Cabi Collection was just gorgeous and there were so many beautiful pieces to choose from. I chose these stunning red line trousers & tan leather belt which I put together with an old H&M blouse, tan sandals & lots of gorgeous gold accessories!
On arrival we were treated to some delicious cocktails, the restaurant was decked out beautifully & it was so much fun to see what my blogger & Instagram friends had chosen to wear from the Cabi Spring/Summer Cabi 2019 collection and see how we’d all styled the pieces so differently ……
During dinner there was a presentation by the Cabi team and we found out so much more about the whole Cabi Story. Cabi was created through the belief that when women are in relationship with each other, we’re better—whether doing life together, or simply helping each other explore our personal style or building businesses alongside each other. This is an incredible ethos and something I truly believe in and just another reason I’m so delighted to be working with this company.
The heart of the Cabi foundation is dedicated to serving and empowering women in need, providing entrepreneurial opportunities for women in developing countries in collaboration with Opportunity International. This became the Cabi Fashion Experience which you can read more about here.
We learnt all about how you can book a Cabi stylist to come to your home & have an opportunity to hear about the hottest trends, and discover your true style in the company of close friends. Their trained Cabi Stylists transform that looming question of “What do I wear?” into an occasion to enter one’s closet with a sense of boldness, confidence, and even fun. Find out more about booking your Cabi stylist here ….Or you can even become a trained Cabi stylist……
The launch party was so much fun, lovely to meet one of the brilliant independent Cabi Stylists Deborah Richardson and also the fabulous Nadia Sawalha from Loose Women! We were also treated to a full fashion show, get styled and played dress up and then invited to visit the London pop up store a few days later and with an incredibly generous gift voucher.
After this incredible Cabi event, I received one of the most exciting emails since starting my styling, blogging & instagram journey. The Cabi team asked me if I wanted to become a #CabiSquad Ambassador which basically means becoming a style voice and helping promote their new Autumn Winter 2019 and next years Spring Summer 2020 collection!! In the interest of transparency this is an on going paid collaboration from now till the end of the year, however even if it wasn’t paid… I’d still be honoured to do it!! (Just don’t tell Cabi this 😉
So let’s talk about Cabi’s Autumn Winter 2019 collection!
You can imagine my excitement when Cabi asked me to select not 1 but 15 pieces from their new season collection for this collaboration. You can see the full collection in great little video here.
So it’s been incredibly difficult not to wear everything all at once as I genuinely love all the pieces I have chosen. Thankfully the British summer hasn’t quite finished so I’ve only been able to wear a few pieces to date & have been drip feeding these looks through on my Instagram.
Not forgetting to include a couple of Cabi accessories and the number of looks you can create is quite impressive…even if I do say so myself 😉
Here’s some looks I created during August & September with just a few of the new season collection I ordered…If you follow me on instagram then you may have already seen these looks, so apologies in advance.
These Cabi Armi Green Marathon Joggers are so comfortable they were a perfect for travelling on holiday. I teamed here with a simple matching vest, my gorgeous Silk Sarong which I always travel with and denim jacket from my own wardrobe.
Talking of the Snake Charmer blouse, I’ve had so much wear out of it already and always receive so many compliments when I wear it. I absolutely love animal print and clashing snake skin with florals is such an interesting fresh approach & the puff sleeves are very on trend this season
Here I’ve created 3 very different looks ….
Adding a skirt creates a more feminine look & I love how the print really pops against this Find IT Style IT cream tube skirt.
And finally add a little edge with an incredibly flattering pair of Cabi Tuxedo Jeans and some Air & Grace leopard print hi tops for work…..not forgetting the Cabi Beast, my new favourite leopard belt in the last look!
Well that’s all from me for the moment but I’m super excited to show you the new arrivals coming on the 25th September!!
Also here’s a sneak peak into some of the gorgeous looks we created out in our little garden studio over the weekend when the sun was still shining ….more of these looks will be revealed soon along with some some fun IGTV and Instagram stories, so keep your eyes peeled and make sure you follow me at @alice_inthe_looking_glass if you don’t already 😉
I’m a UK size 10 on my top half & 12 on my bottom half. As you know Cabi is an American brand so you need to take 4 off your size and that’s your US size. They are also quite generous in sizing so i recommend sizing down if you’re in between sizes.
Zebra Top – size small
The Beast Belt – size small
Tuxedo Jeans – size US 6
The Josephine Coat – size small
