I was delighted to be contacted by the cabi crew and invited for the 2nd year running to be one of their Cabi Ambassadors again this Autumn/Winter 2020.

As a cabiambassador I’m incredibly lucky to pick 15 items from the new season collection (they only have 2 a year) and my first blog is going to showcase 4 looks that I’ve created from these pieces.

Let me introduce you to my rail and all the pieces I choose from the Autumn/Winter 2020 cabi collection….and over the next few months, I will rework these pieces again and again to show you the incredible versatility you can achieve when building a cabi wardrobe.

If you’d like to read more from my first blogs for cabi and how I became a #cabiambassador the please click here.

So without further ado, my first look is my take on Country Chic, utilising the beautiful Knife Pleat Blouse, Hign Skinny Jeans in vapor wash grey, their stud belt to add a little edge to the look, and adding cosey layers & warmth this chilly winter with the Coffee Shop Cardigan.

NB When you scroll over each of the 4 pictures below you will be taken directly to the cabi website.

I based this Country Chic look around the stunning Knife Pleat Blouse which can be worn loose & flowy or with a little cheeky half-tuck as shown here, which helps elongate the leg at the front but still covering the bottom if you’re feeling a little self-conscious of this area.

It also features a high, smocked collar which can be worn undone as I have here for a softer more relaxed vibe or done up for a more regal effect.

I’ve teamed this blouse with a pair of grey (Vapor Wash) Cabi high skinny jeans and a pair of dark grey knee-high boots from my own wardrobe however, a pair of OTK (over the knee) or ankle boots would work equally well in a tan, black or oxblood perhaps.

Wearing this blouse tucked in offers the opportunity to showcase this stunning studded belt and gives this country look more of a rock and roll edge. When creating your looks, a very easy way to add the finishing touch, is to really consider your accessories, and adding a hat can help finish the look and I chose one from my own wardrobe with this beautiful feather headband.

Finally, add an extra layer to your look and keep the winter chills away with this fabulous gray rainbow oversized coat-style Coffee Shop Cardigan for ultimate comfort and warmth.

For my next look, I went for a Parisian Chic, Emily in Paris look whilst mixing up my patterns & prints with the Cross Walk Stripey Tee, the leopard print Bundle Up Scarf, and the stars on the Slim Boyfriend Jeans.  If you follow me on Instagram you will know that this is one of my favorite styling tips, clashing my prints on a daily basis which is a really fun way to modernise and make your outfit look more on-trend and polished.

The black & white striped Crosswalk Tee is a great addition to anyone’s wardrobe, I always recommend a great Breton Tee for my client’s wardrobes as its a real staple that you’ll be able to mix and match into so many outfits, either leaving out, half-tuck or completely tucked in. Again I’ve added the Stud Belt to give interest & texture and most importantly adding shape & really sinching in the waist.

Now let’s take a moment to discuss The Slim Boyfriend jeans …..in this season’s all-new dark indigo wash with added hand-stamped star print for some extra fun. I adore the slightly cropped, raw hemline, perfect to show off some sexy ankles & leopard print heels!

A white trainer or flat boots would also work equally well if heels aren’t for you….and adding pops of red with leopard print is always a winner …..so think about a red lippy & nails for that really polished finished look to your outfit.

I’ve used the sophisticated Maestro Jacket as another layering piece, which worn separately to the matching trousers is a great way to get more bang for your buck from the pieces in the collection and your wardrobe.

Now every outfit needs a statement piece……let me introduce you to the Bundle Up Scarf, a leopard print, faux fur scarf that’s sure to keep you feeling soft and cozy, inside and out….I just love him!!

Finally, I’ve added a leopard print clutch & a striking cream beret from my own wardrobe to give a little “OH LA LA” Parisian touch!!

Now I’m actually a little stumped as to what to call this look, I put it together thinking it was the sort of thing I would wear to work (My office is more dressed down and casual office environment) so am going to go for Dress Down Office Chic 😉

This vibrant, burnt orange Belfry Blouse would brighten up the most dreary of days/offices and perfect for when we’re all finally allowed to go for drinks after work, ideal for those day-to-night transitional outfits.

A high waist is very much the on-trend look for jeans this season and cabi have nailed it again with The Higher Straight in a medium indigo wash which is perfect for the elongating effect of a high-rise bottom without the form-fitting design of a skinny jean.

Some of the more eagle-eyed cabi fans might recognise my belt here… last years must have cabi accessory…. “The Beast!”

Again as you can see I’ve mixed and matched my prints, clashing florals, and leopard print to add a little more interest to this rather fun look and popped on The Bundle Up Scarf for a little #doubleleopardprint and another beret to keep things super cozy this winter.

The McQueen Coat is a great boxy, oversized shape and faux-shearling accents at the collar, cuffs, and hem, this neutral-toned topper will keep you feeling warm and looking cool.

My final look has to be called Camo Chic, I mean what else could we call this??!!

This 2 piece camo print co-ord strikes the perfect balance between sporty and feminine which is also absolutely perfect for WFH during these crazy Covid-19 times we’ve been living.

The easy-pairing ATC Jacket is designed to be close-fitting with flattering drawstring cords to cinch in your waist. It features a zip-up design with snap pockets to fit your phone and wallet on those grab-and-go days.

Teamed here with the relaxed-fitting, baby soft Playoff Hoodie, is another great example of print clashing with stripes and camo being a great combination.

The ATC Jacket looks great paired with the matching leggings, with the jacket done up or open and again can be worn as separates, so wear this jacket with jeans or pair the ATC leggings with a big sloppy jumper.

The Mcqueen Coat is super versatile too and looks just as great layered over this sporty athletic look as it does with jeans and a blouse as I showed you earlier. Having key pieces in your wardrobe working hard for you is ultimately what you are looking for when building your wardrobe and you can definitely rely on cabi to do this for you.
